Chromebooks and Google Apps at Classrooms in Malaysia

every other parents, I possess the same desires and eagerness to bestow my kids
with the best facilities and opportunities so that they can discover their
passion within. These days, internet has become a huge source of information
for many students. It offers entertainment as well as education. It offers
tools and features to function as a team, share and research. Countries such as
Philippines have improvised their schooling system and introduced the web
world. They use “Google” in every school issues.
Malaysia
is growing fast in infrastructure, commerce, education and every other important
issue. It has gained that extra edge by getting accustomed to “Google Apps” for
more than 10 million students, teachers and parents. To develop this process,
they have also installed “Chromebooks” in the schools. Primary and secondary
students have accepted it and that’s why it’s very popular among the students. This
is focussed to integrate the web and education and it’s a central part of a
national plan (PDF) to reform its educational system.
The
computers need to be lucid, simple, secure and manageable and so they can be
deployed in the school systems easily. The “Chromebook” is an ideal tool for
learning, sharing and interacting between the students and the teachers. All
the complications are removed, they can boot up in seconds and in addition to
that, they have the virus protection as well. Since, the booting system is
good, a student can open and close the lid as he wants. They can be easily
installed and this reduces the hackles that had to be faced earlier. It’s
extremely cost efficient.

than 3000 schools in the whole world have installed Chromebooks in their
schooling system. Countries like New Zealand, Edina, Minnesota, Point England
are using it in a large scale. It has given education a new boom have created
an extra zeal among the students. It has improved attendance and passing rates
as students are having fun in learning.
